Acura LMP1 ALMS cars

Expect Acura’s race car to reign again in this year’s ALMS with the rolling out of the Acura LMP1 ARX-02a developed by Honda Performance Development of California in cooperation with Wirth Research of England.

HPD and Wirth recently tried the might of Acura’s new breed of race cars and put it in a testing session on the 3.7-mile, 17-turn Sebring road circuit where the ALMS season opener will be held on March 21. Race driving the Acura LMP1 ALMS is made easy, safe and comfortable with its open-cockpit design and of course winning is assured as it is powered by its 4.0-liter engine, normally aspirated V8 fueled by unleaded E10 gasoline.

With HDP  and Wirth putting together their expertise and brilliance in producing race cars, no doubt the Acura LMP1 ALMS not only offers reliability but also a lightning speed that a car-racer can bank on to get the racing flag.

There is no doubt the new 620 plus horsepower Acura LMP1 ALMS will grab not only the race but also the headlines  as Acura’s  cars have  recorded ALMS leads since they entered the race in 2007 during which Acura LMP2 cars registered seven class wins with two overall wins.
