Audi e-tron Detroit Show car

Audi unveiled its latest e-tron concept at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The low-slung sporty two-door Audi e-tron Detroit show car is fitted with a pair of electric motors.

The Audi e-tron Detroit show car weighs 2975 pounds—courtesy of the Audi Space Frame designed aluminum structure—and is powered by two mid-mounted electric motors that total 204 horsepower. The e-tron sprints from zero to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds. And with its efficient use of battery and electronics, the e-tron show car has a range of around 155 miles.

Other “add-on” parts of the e-tron such as the doors, hoods, roof and fenders are made up of fiber-reinforced plastic. The interior features a revised MMI scroll pad with touch-sensitive surface on the steering wheel, as well as a one-of-a-kind smartphone integration setup.
