Audi TT-RS

MTM, the German tuning specialist, has just laid its hands on the Audi TT-RS to add a little umph to the sports car.

With its 2.5 Liter turbocharged, direct-injection 5-cylinder engine, the Audi TT-RS is already able to produce an impressive 340 horsepower and torque of up to 332 pound feet between 1,600 rpm and 5,300 rpm. That’s enough to accelerate the TT-RS from 0 to a whopping 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds before hitting its top speed of 297 km/h.

MTM just took it from there. After a few adjustments at the engine control unit, MTM also fitted the TT-RS with a new exhaust system that features middle-and end- pipes with throttle valves. The result: three stages of power. Stage 1 offers 301 kW (404 bhp) and 550 Nm of torque while the second stage gives out 302 kW (408 bhp) and the same amount of torque. The highest stage offers utmost power of 316 kW (424 bhp) and torque of 560 Nm.

The MTM-tweaked Audi TT-RS rides on no other than MTM sports rims with the original BIMOTO design in either 19 or 20 inches.
