Cadillac will be coming out with the 2010 CTS-V Sport Wagon, GM vice chairman Bob Lutz confirmed.
The Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon will be fitted with same 6.2 Liter supercharged V8 engine that powers the CTS-V. With this engine, the power output comes at 556 horsepower and torque of 551 pound-feet. Weighing a little more than the CTS-V, the CTS-V Sport Wagon can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. With all these numbers, the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon is set to be the fastest station wagon ever to be produced.
After its expected market launch in March next year, station wagon will be a common sight in the American roads again.
The Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon is not the only new version of the CTS, according to GM’s plans, as they are also planning to come up with a coupe version of the CTS-V.
