It looks like Aston Martin is planning to shake things up when it comes to the individualization of a car, particularly the paint job. As seen on the photos of the upcoming Cygnet in the automaker’s website, the car will be swathed with unusual paint jobs and various animal prints.

However, as in each photo the rear of the car appears to be covered up a bit, it is also likely that the odd paint scheme could also be just an interpreted an attempt to keep final design details masked for the time being.

The Cygnet, as the company explains, “represents a creative, environmentally conscious solution, being small, yet with presence – and a highly fuel efficient, now combined with the prestige of Aston Martin’s luxury brand ownership.”

The Toyota iQ-based Aston Martin Cygnet features the companies styling trades such as the grille, front fender vents, and hidden door handles. Aston Martin also put their touch on the unique tail lights, and an oversized rear spoiler. The interior boasts gloss black trim, premium leather upholstery and an iPhone dock.

A new series of photos of the Aston Martin Rapide has been released. Along with the snapshots of the powerful car, Aston Martin also announced that the Rapide will be available in the UK for £139,950.

About 2000 four-seat Rapides will be built in the new 17 000 m2 Aston Martin Plant in Graz, Austin. The plant has been designed to reflect the quality levels established in Gaydon since 2003 permitting the fusion of modern technology, advanced manufacturing processes and hand-built craftsmanship. Each Rapide will be hand-built and may approximately take 200 man hours to be built.
