General Motors has released one official sketch of the upcoming Excelle. The auto brand though has playing details of the compact premium sedan close to the chest.

To slot beneath the recently unveiled Regal in Buick’s lineup, the new Excelle compact sedan will be based on General Motor’s Delta II architecture, the very same that will support the Chevrolet Cruze and Volt. From the teaser sketch, it is clearly seen that the new model will sport the signature Buick waterfall grille, expressive headlights inspired by the Regal and hood-mounted portholes.

Although the Excelle is very similar to the Excelle XT hatchback recently unveiled in China, it still is rooted from the Opel…

General Motors is now working on developing a new line of small premium cars for its brand Buick. The goal of the cars is to go up against BMW’s 1 series and perhaps even raising the bar while they are at it. The automaker has released a handful of sketches depicting seven possible exterior designs for a vehicle it calls Avant.

If the 1 series is focused on performance, Buick’s aim for the Avant is to provide world class luxury in a very small car.

Some of the drawings reveal a hatchback version, while some others show a coupe like roofline. The Avant may be sold with multiple body kits but only…

General Motor is now actively trying to transform the public perception of its Buick brand. They have now chucked out the bland, outdated designs that dominated the division’s lineup not long ago. But like any other business you need to market your product in order for it to sell. What good is a hot new sedan like the 2010 LaCrosse if the marketing can’t effectively back it up?

Buicks latest slogan is “Take a Look At Me Now,” this slogan is used to emphasize the improved cars that Buick makes, but it is not as catchy and edgy as Lexus “Pursuit of Perfection.”. To correct this, Buick has made a new…

The launch of the new Buick Regal in the People’s Republic of China may just give the manufacturer an edge over its competitors. The luxury sedan market has been captured hands down by the original Buick Regal model but that success was short-lived after the introduction of other models from Japan including the Teana, Camry and Accord.

Shanghai GM has been on the lookout for new auto models to compete with Passat and Accord. It released the Buick Lacrosse earlier this year with the hope of capturing China’s auto market. However, the new Buick Regal which is based on the European Opel Insignia is expected to cater to a higher-end market. The…

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse, which was inspired by the Buick Invicta, is expected to steal the show during next year’s Detroit Auto Show. The 2010 Buick LaCrosse looks better than the other Buicks and if this holds true as promised then it can make a big difference for the company sales-wise.

It is no secret that the Buick is all over China mainly because it gets more sales in the area compared to the United States.  The latest Buick in town, called Invicta, was shown during the Beijing Auto Show.  This Invicta should give Americans a good idea of the design for the 2010 Buick LaCrosse.

So how does the 2010 Buick…
