I had applied for the post of HOUSEHOLD manager through this site for a world re-known Chemical Company based in Dubai. A few days later I was sent an e-mail giving me details of the Company and signed by the CEO along with the salary package and benefits. I was then asked to call up a lady at the Emirates Embassy in New Delhi which I did.

Considering the fact that the letter was signed by the CEO of this company I did not think it to be dubious. I did call up this lady at the Emirates Embassy in New Delhi and was advised to send a photocopy of my passport first and last pages, having done this, she then sent me a detailed e-mail stating that I will have to make a payment of USD 500 approximately INR 33000 to process the Visa and the Employment Authorization .

At this time I smelt something fishy and contacted a very close friend who works for the same company here in Mumbai. She did her checks with the security department in Dubai and advised me that this is a scam and not to share any details with them.
