By linking the first model in the DS line to the designer who revolutionized the way women dress, Citroën is reasserting its Créative Technologie universe. French car maker Citroen has just released a teaser image of a Frankfurt Motor Show bound compact concept. Although Citroen has not given away any details about the concept car, based on the teaser image, it could be a new age 2CV.

For years, rumors of Citroen’s plan for reviving the 2CV have been swirling around and from the looks of it, Citroen’s answer to the Mini Cooper and the Fiat 500 has now come to reality. The car shown in the teaser image clearly depicts a curved hood, large wheel arches and half-circle windows – all signature design cues of the original 2CV.

The Citroen Hypnos Hybrid concept, which debuted during the 2008 Paris Motor Show, may look plain on the outside but prepare for the mind and eye-boggling psychedelic interiors. This is one quirky auto with jewel-like seats and a double-helix center station styled like a DNA adorning the interior.
