This new technology called KERS is starting to make its rounds on the tracks. Corsa Motorsports is taking advantage of this new technology by getting rid of the Ferrari F430 when competing in the GT2 category and making do with a P1 Prototype known as the Ginetta-Zytek GZ09SH. The company tested the KERS system-laden Ginetta-Zytek GZ09SH during the Silverstone circuit and team owner Steve Pruitt has confirmed that it is indeed competing during the May Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park.
The P1 category used to be dominated by the Acura prototypes—not anymore! With the appearance of the Ginetta-Zytek GZ09SH the Acura prototypes will get a much-needed competition. Corsa Mototsports…
