
GMC is going to offer a luxury-laden Denali variant of its hauler-friendly Sierra HD pickup range. The truck unit of General Motors will now present a Denali version on all but one of its mainstream consumer offerings.
The Sierra Denali Heavy Duty, which is set to go on sale in early summer, will come standard with the automaker’s 6.0-liter Vortec gasoline V8 engine but will offer the new 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel that debuted recently in the Silverado HD.
The diesel V8 mill spits out a 397 horsepower and 765 lb-ft. of torque at just 1,600 rpm and comes mated to a new six-speed Allison automatic transmission. It is also capable of running…
