Infiniti is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the announcement of four limited edition G models. Dubbed the G Anniversary Editions, the special package will be available on the G37 Sedan, G37 Sedan AWD, G37 Coupe and G37 Convertible.

All of the Anniversary Edition G will come standard with Infiniti’s Premium and Navigation Packages. Coupe and Sedan models will also come outfitted with the Sport Package and 4-Wheel Active Steer. The Sedan AWD model will not have the latter though.

The entire range will come in Graphite Shadow with Monaco Red Leather interiors. Two-door models will feature unique Red-toned Maple interior accents while the G Sedan will sport Shodo-finish aluminum trim.

Just behind its new European diesel range, Infiniti has announced a new M35 Hybrid model at the Geneva Motor Show. The M35 Hybrid marks the luxury brand’s first gas-electric offering.

Based on the all-new M sedan, the M35 Hybrid pairs Infiniti’s 3.5L V6 with a compact hybrid drive system. Although Nissan, Infiniti’s parent company, has offered a hybrid in the form of the Altima Hybrid, the system used in the M represents Nissan’s first in-house designed hybrid drive system. Infiniti refers to its hybrid system as Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid.

Carlos Ghosn, Nissan’s president has already confirmed that its Infiniti luxury brand will be offering an all-electric vehicle late last year. However, up until now, few details about the Infiniti EV has been given.

Just recently though Infiniti head Toru Saito has offered some new information about the forthcoming Infiniti electric vehicle. According to Saito, Infiniti’s first electric vehicle will take the form of a small car, likely similar with the Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series. Infiniti sees the compact luxury segment growing rapidly in the coming years, surpassing the current entry-level luxury segment, which includes cars like the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and even Infiniti’s own G.

Infiniti’s EV is expected…

Infiniti will have to step it up a notch to be able to be felt and seen in the roads of London, Paris or Rome. And Infiniti will just do that with their introduction of a more exclusive version of the FX crossover.

Only a hundred FX Limited Edition models will be produced fro the Western Europe, and eighteen of those will be bound for the United Kingdom. The vehicles will also be individually numbered. The number makes the Infiniti FX Limited Edition unconventionally rare pieces for a volume manufacturer. A package that includes interior and exterior upgrades, however, will be available for both the FX37S and FX50S models.

Joining the luxury hybrid bandwagon started by Lexus, Infiniti has also confirmed it will release a hybrid version of its all new 2011 M. The car will be called the Infiniti M35 Hybrid, the environment friendly luxury sedan will arrive in Infiniti dealers this coming spring 2011 as a 2012 model.

Infiniti has earlier confirmed that a revised version of their flagship QX SUV will come out next year. After the confirmation, a couple of leaked images have hit the web and we now have our first look that the heavily updated, full size luxury SUV.

The source of the image is still unknown, but it looks that the images were taken from a previous car show. Whatever the case, the vehicle in the picture is the revised version of the Infiniti QX56, and will be dubbed as the 2011 model.
