
Mercedes-Benz’s much anticipated SLS AMG, which is the next generation 300SL Gullwing will make its debut in the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. The German automaker has spilled some information on the 571-horsepower supercar ahead of the official launch.
The most notable feature of the SLS AMG is the gullwing doors which are obviously inspired by the 300SL. The doors swing up 70 degrees to allow for access to the interior of the car.
Mercedes Benz has provided the SLS AMG with 6.3-liters of AMG-massaged V8 will pump out 571 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 480 lb-ft. of torque at 4,750 rpm transmitted to the transaxle-mounted seven-speed SpeedShift dual-clutch transmission. This will enable…
