
Geneva welcomes another hybrid vehicle, and it comes by the name Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
Although the 911 GT3 R is a hybrid, it is unable to run solely on electrical power. It uses the system that was developed by the Williams F1 racing team. It’s called the kinetic energy recovery system, or KERS system for short. The hybrid setup uses a flywheel generator and a regenerative braking system to power two electric motors mounted at the front of this rear-engined vehicle. Porsche calls the system Intelligent Performance.
