For the Mustang fans out there, Saleen has conjured up something spectacular for you: the 2010 Saleen S281. This 2010 Ford Mustang-based creation from Saleen Performance Vehicles will run with the same 4.6 Liter V8 engine with a VI.5 twin-screw supercharger and Saleen’s own dual-stage intercooler. The S281 has 485 horsepower and torque of 460 pound-feet. All these power through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Other notable features would be the front-and-rear single-rate springs, nitrogen-pressurized front struts and damping adjustable rear shocks, and a limited slip-differential.
Front or back, however you may want to look at the Battalion S281, there’s no questioning it’s beauty with it’s unique body kit and a new hood, side skirts, rear window louvers and the four-tailpipe exhaust system. The interior couldn’t be any less with leather sport seats with ultra-suede inserts. A few sporty touches on the dash, gauges, as well as the steering wheel and the center console. And of course, the contrasting Saleen insignia proudly placed on the door panels and door sill plates.
Another feature definitely not to be missed are the 7-spoke, 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso high-performing tires.
This will absolutely make you love a Mustang!
