Hennessey Venom GT Unable to Make Geneva Debut

Fans of the Hennessey Performance Venom GT won’t be pleased to learn that the upcoming hypercar is not coming to the Geneva Motor Show next month. The cancelled debut was reportedly due to a lack of exhibition space at the event. Reports say however that HP will instead debut the Venom GT at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom this July. As to the US fans, they will get the chance to see the car in Monterey.

The Hennessey Performance Venom GT is reportedly said to achieve power figures of around 746kW (1,000bhp) while torque peaks at 1,288Nm (950 lb-ft) at 4,800rpm.All these power is then sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

Final testing is still going on though so hopefully more concrete performance figures will be confirmed over the coming weeks.
