Toyota was not the only one that introduced a compact concept car at the 10th Auto Expo in New Delhi. Honda also unveiled their New Small Concept car, marking as well their first world premiere in India.
Under the design principle “Man Maximum- Machine Minimum”, the five-seat, three-door concept car was assembled in Japan. It has a large enough cabin space, thanks to its wide platform. The outside boasts Honda’s “Efficient Energetic Exterior” with its shape emphasized by LED lights.
With the launch of the New Small Concept, Honda is also trying to break into the hot compact car market India is becoming.
The production version of the Honda New Small Concept will be launched by 2011. Toyota, however, is already one step ahead with Etios’ production already slated this end of the year.
