Mercedes Benz will catch up with today’s new trend of small cars which have become saleable in the market maybe due to the financial meltdown which has changed today’s car-buying trend. Mercedes Benz is bent on producing the SLA Roadster which has been just a concept way back in 2000.
It will come in a convertible new model which would be made available in the market in the second semester of 2011 or in 2012. The SLA Roadster is seen to face heavy market competition from Mazda MX-5. The new Mercedes Benz SLA Concept will not longer be just a concept. It is seen as a compact four-seat convertible that will take inspiration from the next generation of drive A-Class and B-Class platforms with front wheels.
Small-size vehicles are in demand today even with the reduction in worldwide fuel prices because people knows that it will go back to its original price in the near future so fuel efficiency is a very important aspect when buying an auto.
