
For its 40th anniversary, Nissan has just confirmed that it will release a special edition of the Fairlady Z — better known to us as the Nissan 370Z. The car will be named the Fairlady Z 40th Anniversary Edition, the model will commemorate the October 1969 market launch of the vehicle.
The anniversary edition will be based on the Fairlady Z’s top trim level in Japan – the Version ST. There a lot of changes made to the car especially on the interior, inside the 40th Anniversary model comes equipped with a unique leather and suede trim on the seats and doors, complete with red accent stitching on the seats, steering wheel, shifter, console boot and instrument panel upper box.
The car will also be marked with special 40th Anniversary emblems. The engine of car will still be the same, but it will come standard with 19-inch RAYS wheels finished in a dark chrome coating. Buyers can get the Fairlady Z with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic.
