The Dacia Duster production version contains most of the styling featured in the concept vehicle including the awesome rear lights and auto enthusiasts will be able to compare the two versions when the auto is unveiled during the 2010 Geneva Auto Show. However, don’t expect to see the suicide doors originally found in the concept as they have been replaced by regular doors. The same goes for headlights and the side mirrors.

The Dacia Duster will have a 1.5dCi engine producing 106 horsepower with 240Nm of torque. With these numbers you can expect the auto to have atop speed of 178 km/h and a fuel economy rate of 5.4 liters per 100…

The marriage between a gadget brand and a designer brand is quite common. Take for example the Levis Edition Jeeps. So why not the South Korean Hyundai auto manufacturer and Italian fashion House Prada? That marriage albeit temporarily is not highly improbably because it did happen with the Hyundai Genesis Prada. Both brands are expected to benefit from the publicity generated by their union and at this time when the economy is down every little thing helps when it comes to marketing.

The only three Hyundai Genesis Prada sedans will be seen live for the first time during the Seoul Motor Show this April right at the Prada Transformer, a temporary…

The original Bug was an easy-to-fall-in-love-with car even without these renderings. But since it’s already here, admit the fact that you just can’t keep looking at the good old Volkswagen. And now that the Bug has turned into a Bunny, would that give you the guts to take it to your annual Easter Egg Hunt?

If you can’t stop staring then do yourself and your kids a favor by visiting the Volo Classic Car Museum in Illinois where this pink eye candy is on display. This Volkswagen has actually had a lot of makeovers from being a Bug into a Mouse and then into a Bunny. The makers of this Volkswagen…

Why limit high-security cars like the Pope Mobile for the more expensive autos when you can build one using a small car like the Hyundai i10? The Hyundai’s i10 Pope-Mobile has been considered by most auto enthusiasts as an April Fool’s gift from Hyundai but before you even laugh at the economical auto manufacturer you should first see what’s inside the hood of the Hyundai’s i10 Pope-Mobile.

The Hyundai’s i10 Pope-Mobile specifically targets the rising need for secured cars among world and religious leaders. Aside from ensuring the safety of world leaders the Pope-Mobile are also more environment-friendly sans the large emissions coming from large limousines. This is also a good…

The Kia 2010 Amanti Sedan is yet to be unveiled at the Seoul Motor Show but auto buyers are also thrilled about the replacement for the Opirus primarily due to the leakage of the car’s concept version all over the Internet. The concept version is expected to be a look-alike of the production version which hopefully will have none of the boring looks of the present Amanti.

In all probability the Kia 2010 Amanti Sedan will have any of these engine options: the 2.4-Liter Theta four-cylinder engine, 2.7-Liter Mu V6 engine, the 3,3-Liter engine and the 3.8-Liter V6 Lambda engine  which would probably be fitted for the US versions along with a…

This is definitely bad news for Brilliance and the Chinese automobile industry as well. I’m talking about the failure of the Brilliance BS6 ADAC to pass the Euro NCAP crash test.

It did not only fail the crash test but the Chinese-made auto suffered a catastrophic frontal damage which make4s it surprising why the auto was even given a one star rating, This is plainly catastrophic for the future of the Brilliance BS6 ADAC considering that the test would have convinced Europeans that the Chinese brand was capable of building a safe and quality car that can finally be sold in Europe.

The Brilliance BS6 ADAC is a pretty cheap auto and after…

Be prepared to sing to different voices and tunes when you see the 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The new auto, which was introduced during last year’s Chicago Auto Show, is obviously Hyundai’s response to the growing competition among mid-size sedans vying for fuel efficiency. The auto sowed up at the Auto Show with enhanced suspensions, more horsepower, new interior and a much improved fuel economy.

The 2009 Hyundai Sonata boasts of Hyundai’s proven dependability and a host of features that would start a crescendo of songs even from a non-singer. Suffice it to say that the Sonata has raised the bar for autos when it comes to safety and value. It boasts…

The Geneva Motor Show was indeed a venue that showcased the latest electric vehicle models but also wishful thinking concept cars that might make production in the future. One of these impressive concept cars displayed during the Auto Show is the Koenigsegg Quant, a solar-electric model built by Swedish supercar builder Koenigsegg. This is not just wishful auto though because it would see production which would have a range of 300 miles per charging. Charging time would only take less than 20 minutes.

Koenigsegg Quant has partnered with NLV Solar for the use of Pyrite, also known as fool’s gold, and which has tremendous possibilities for use in commercial solar technology. The…

There’s a lot of wishful thinking in this shark-like auto aptly called the Audi Shark concept. This visionary auto is the product of the fertile mind of 26-year old Kazim Doku who won in the Audi and Domus Academy-sponsored design competition. This auto looks more like a hovercraft though waiting for the sharks at bay even though it has the dour-ring Audi badge. Doku described his design as a super sport automobile which followed the clean and perfect lines of Audi.

Doku is a young Turk who has won three other automotive design competitions which is amazing considering the lack of an automobile industry in Turkey. He is however always on…
